The Cuvée 1551 is the traditional style of Château de Pouilly.

La Réserve comes from the especially old vines around the Château, harvested by hand with a percentage of maturing in wood that varies from one year to the next.

The Château de Pouilly’s barrels come from a number of regions and the degree to which they are “toasted” is carefully chosen by the head cellarman according to the particular style of wine they are to hold.
