Despite the existence of male inheritors, the last five proprietors have been women, which explains the continual change of name even though the family remains the same. 


The lineage is : Monsieur Piot père, M. Piot Henri then Mme Protat, Mme Boutry, Mme du Comet and Mme Canal du Comet. 


And this will continue as the next generation comprises two sisters, Alida and Alexa.
